Dr. Ankita Shah has 10+ years of experience in the field of Pediatric Dentistry and Airway Dentistry with an extensive international training and experience in treating an array of diverse cases from infants to adults. Her journey to Airway Dentistry (Tongue Ties, Sleep Apnea, Snoring, TMJ, Airway Orthodontics & Myofunctional Therapy) started when she started to observe more and more patients suffering from these problems, that guided her curiosity to research more about these problems and how can she as a dentist resolve these problems. This has helped her see how the jaw and teeth development from infancy has an impact in growing years to developing TMJ in adulthood. This stimulated her to learn more and more about these fields and she hasn’t stopped learning thereafter till today. It inspires her to know that dentists play such a critical role in the mental, social and physical well being of a patient. This field of dentistry best benefits the patient when dentists engage as a team to provide a comprehensive, integrative and holistic treatment approach and she feels extremely passionate in treating these cases by collaborating with experts from different fields to provide outstanding treatment to advance the standards of health care.
Dr. Ankita has pioneered this field of dentistry in India successfully treating over 1000+ patients Pan India and Internationally.
Dr. Nilofer has done basic braces, advanced braces, as well as Clear Aligner therapy since 2012. Well-versed with all forms of removable plates and fixed techniques, provides preventive, interceptive as well as corrective Orthodontic care. Practising Clear aligner therapy since 2012 and Invisalign (since 2015) Dr. Nilofer is a Platinum provider for the past 4 years for Invisalign. She has done advanced training courses with Invisalign for Clear Aligner therapy from Prof. Tony Weir (Australia) & Prof. Willy Dayan (Canada). She can treat simple as well as complex cases with the same. Was awarded the first prize for the thesis research paper by Indian Dentist Research and Review magazine ( 2011). And best-finished case awards were given by Nasim Balut Chahin of Mexico in Ormco Case Presentation Contest 2018.
